Health guarantee: We have screened and/or are in the process of screening all our breeding dogs for both hip and eye problems. We will not breed a dog with any known genetic problem. Our standard guarantee to all buyers of puppies is that you are purchasing a puppy with no known genetic tendencies toward hip or eye problems and that the puppy is healthy at the time of purchase. We ask that all puppies be examined by the purchaser's personal veterinarian within 72 hrs of taking possession. If at that time, a licensed vet finds your puppy to have a significant medical health issue (one that is life-threatening or one that would cause long term poor quality of life), the puppy may be returned within 3 days with a written explanation from the examining vet. In that case, purchase price will be refunded or a replacement pup of equal value may be chosen. This return policy specifically excludes temporary,common, minor puppy conditions such as fleas, worms or other intestinal parasites which can be easily treated with a course of medication.

We have not traditionally offered any long term health guarantees due to a large number of factors that we, as breeders, have no control over. Most of these factors are under the control of the new owners (i.e. over exercised or overfed pups and young adults are linked to hip dysplasia). By spending the time and money to screen our breeding dogs for the most common breed-specific genetic conditions, we have greatly reduced the liklihood that one of our puppies will be affected. However, if a purchaser still desires a specific long term health "warranty", we can customize one and offer that at an additional cost. Please inquire for more details.
